Odessa Playhouse Childcare is a State of Ohio licensed Type B Family Child Care Provider, operating in compliance with the
Ohio Department of Children and Youth.

- Licensed Capacity: Up to six (6) children
- Regulatory Authority: Ohio Department of Children and Youth (DCY)
- Compliance: All required health, safety, background checks, and training standards are met
Program Status
Odessa Playhouse Childcare is currently in the pre‑opening and enrollment preparation phase, with an anticipated opening in November 2026. Licensing is maintained in good standing as we finalize facility readiness, staffing, and enrollment.
As community demand increases, Odessa Playhouse intends to transition from a Type B program to a Type A licensed setting as soon as eligibility requirements, facility standards, and regulatory approvals are met. This approach ensures responsible growth while maintaining the quality, safety, and individualized care families' trust.
